What is a Carding Tool?
A carding tool for dogs is a grooming device specifically designed to remove loose, dead, or shedding fur from a dog's coat. Here are the key features and uses of a carding tool:
The Coat Tender is made in the USA and is available in Fine, Medium, and Coarse.
FINE: The fine blade is ideal to follow up with after using the Medium. The Fine Coat Tender works well on shorter areas that produce undercoat. For example, the front of the front legs of Setters, Spaniels, Retrievers, etc.
MEDIUM: The medium blade can be used on coats that are short with medium density.
COARSE: The coarse blade works well on slightly longer coat types, that have a heavier density. The Coarse is also great for smooth-coated breeds.
💡 PRO TIP: It is recommended that Professional groomers have all three Coat Tenders to be able to tackle any coat type.
